Impact modifiers are added to PVC to improve its impact strength, flexibility, toughness. Process aids are added to PVC during manufacturing to improve flow properties, reduce viscosity, improve efficiency and quality. Usually added in form of powder/liquid and made of materials such as acrylics, elastomers, styrenics, lubricants, surfactants, plasticizers.
